Bio:

Tenor and pianist Benjamin Rorabaugh heralds from Long Beach, MS. He holds degrees from Harding University (Bachelor of Music Education) and the University of Mississippi (Master of Music Performance). His varied background includes teaching piano, voice, accompanying, directing, and performing. He has a driving energy to engage with people through music, seeking to bring the personal best out of those around him. Full roles include Ralph Rackstraw (HMS Pinafore); Fiorello (Il barbiere di Siviglia); various comprimario roles in The Ballad of Baby Doe; Uberto (La serva padrona); The Servant (Amahl and the Night Visitors); The Giant (John Davies’s Jack in the Beanstalk); and The Prince (Opera in the Ozarks Outreach: Cinderella). Opera scenes include Nemorino, Remendado, Little Bat, Frollo, Papageno, The Count, Tarquinius, Alidoro, Bob, and Harlequinade.
