Bio:
Dominik Herrmann is a graduate of Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts where he completed his singing studies with American mezzo-soprano Melinda Paulsen. He has also worked with Thomas Quasthoff, Richard Staab, Rudolf Piernay and Neil Semer, and attended Masterclasses with German operatic singers Franz Hawlata and Kurt Moll. Before he started his singing career, he studied church music and choral conducting at the University of Church Music in Regensburg, Germany.
Besides his activities as a concert singer, he teaches classical voice and vocal pedagogy. His main studio is based in Frankfurt, Germany where he is the head of the Gesangshaus Frankfurt. He also teaches virtually and in a second institution in Munich, Germany, where he has a Studio with a focus on Vocal Pedagogy. He is the author of "Principles of functional voice technique by Cornelius Reid" (published at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts).
