Bio:

Larry Jay Giddens, Bass-Baritone, is a private voice instructor based in Virginia Beach, Virginia and founder of Vocaletics, a voice studio and arts consulting company serving singers locally and online. He works with students ages 11 through adult across classical, musical theatre, worship, contemporary commercial, and choral styles. Larry is passionate about helping singers build healthy vocal technique, artistic confidence, and strong musicianship in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

Larry earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Music Education with a concentration in Pedagogy from Old Dominion University, where he also served as Graduate Recruiting Coordinator for the F. Ludwig Diehn School of Music. He is currently completing the Doctor of Music Education degree at Liberty University. In addition to teaching, Larry continues an active performing career as a bass-baritone in opera and concert repertoire.
