Ms. Veal is an experienced teacher whose students have placed in NATS Art Song and Musical Theater Festivals, been accepted into the NH All-State Choir, played lead roles in their school musicals, and gone on to major in voice at respected universities. She was a participant in the NATS Teaching Intern Program, is the NATS NH/VT District Governor, and was a long-time president of the Granite State NATS chapter.
Ms. Veal uses a reality-based teaching style which frees students to move, breathe, and sing more naturally. She utilizes visual, kinesthetic, tactile, and auditory teaching techniques to appeal to students of all learning styles. These methods enable the student to make the most natural, comfortable, beautiful, and artistic sound that his or her voice can make. \n \nStudents at the Andrea Veal Voice Studio receive weekly 60-, 45-, or 30-minute lessons. Lessons include body, breathing, and singing warm-ups, work on song literature, and music-reading or music theory exercises. \n \nVoice lessons are available to students of all ages. Ms. Veal accepts students of all skill levels. She has taught young beginners, college prep, university voice majors, and adults. Prospective students are welcome to inquire by e-mail.
