Bio:

Daniel Hensley, a proud Asheville native, proudly graduated from Erwin High School and Mars Hill University. His academic journey led him to achieve a BFA in Musical Theatre, specializing in music performance and conducting. Post-graduation, Daniel embarked on a fulfilling teaching career, contributing his talents to the VH-1 "Save the Music" program in collaboration with the Bronx Arts Ensemble in the vibrant city of New York.

Since 2009, Daniel has established a thriving teaching studio in Asheville, dedicated to nurturing talents in voice and acting. He is committed to incorporating cutting-edge voice science techniques into his teaching methodology, constantly staying abreast of the latest research trends. Currently pursuing his M.A. in Vocal Pedagogy at the prestigious Voice Study Center at the University of Wales Trinity St. James, Daniel is also on track to become a Certified Master Teacher with Estill Voice International, a renowned 'voice science' educational model for speech and singing. Additionally, he is pursuing a Masters Nano-Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners Online, showcasing his commitment to innovative teaching methods.

A proud member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), Daniel serves as the lead singer and cantor at All Souls Anglican Church in Mills River, NC. His creative endeavors extend to directing, music directing, producing, and performing in various esteemed local venues in the scenic Western North Carolina region. Daniel's artistic footprint can be traced through his collaborations with esteemed organizations like HART, ACT, SART, HLT, and several private production companies, where his passion for the performing arts shines through.
