Bio: Ecuadorian soprano, Andrea Salazar, has performed in numerous prestigious productions alongside renowned orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Sir Simon Rattle, and Pablo Heras-Casado. She holds a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Kentucky. In May 2019, Andrea was featured at the Ecuadorian Independence Day Ceremony at the Ecuadorian Consulate in Washington D.C. She also appeared as a guest artist at the First International Hispanic Song Festival Premios Capitolio, performing at the opening ceremony held at the Bolivian Embassy in Washington D.C. Currently, Mrs. Salazar is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Kentucky under the mentorship of Dr. Everett McCorvey, focusing on Latin-American Music with a special emphasis on indigenous languages.
