Title: Director, Eva Kendrick Voice Studio, Professor of Voice, Dean College, CMCB
Bio: I am a vocalist, composer and music educator. I am the Director of the Eva Kendrick Voice Studio and on the Voice Faculty at Dean College and the Community Music Center of Boston, where I am also the Chair of the Music Theory & Composition Department and composer-in-residence. I believe in a basic, healthy vocal technique and incorporate speech elements in my warm-ups as well as vocalizations. I studied the Linklater method of vocal production and Alexandre Technique at the American Conservatory Theatre and frequently use tips from speech therapy. I teach primarily beginning and intermediate students (from 10 years old to adult) a healthy technique that can be applied to any style. Many of my students study a combination of musical theatre, classical, jazz and pop. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
