Jodi Ann Curtis is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she holds a Bachelor’s of Music with emphasis in Operatic Performance, and additional studies in vocal pedagogy at Alverno and University Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Jodi has been a featured guest soloist in NYC with the Baroque Aria Ensemble. In Wisconsin, she has been a soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Pops, The Skylight Theatre, and awarded the People’s Choice at the District Metropolitan Opera Auditions.
Jodi has been working with children, teens and adults in areas of voice and personal development for twenty years. She is passionate about the preservation and vocal health of the individual while teaching pop, folk, musical theatre, rock and classical music. Jodi is proud of all of her students. Some of her students have been nationally recognized on television shows such American Idol, The Voice and headliners for Summerfest - The World's Largest Music Festival. Regionally her students who have been awarded as semi-finalists and finalists at NATS Auditions. Over the years, she has worked with singer-songwriter's helping them enhance their voice and style for the music industry. At a statewide level, her students have been nominated and awarded the exemplary soloist awards at WSMA. With great pride, Jodi's successful college music students have been accepted to New York's NYU, Nashville's Belmont University, Utah's Brigham Young University and Wisconsin's Viterbo University. Jodi has been a proud member of National Association of Teachers of Singing since 2008.
