Bio: Laura Kate Marshall is an internationally, classically trained soprano born in New York City. She has had the privilege to perform across the United States and Europe as a soloist and principal recital, Opera and Musical Theatre. she began her undergraduate studies in Vocal Performance in New York University, continued at the Longy School of Music of Bard college where she received her Masters degree in vocal performance.
The basis of Laura's teaching technique is derived primarily from the Italian-Swedish school with the applied use of Alexander Technique and other modalities as needed. Through the application of joyful discipline each student is guided towards strong, flexible and expressive singing on a foundation of grounded vocal technique.
