Bio: Mrs. Peggy Schaaf has a BMEd in Vocal/Choral Music Education from the University of Delaware and a MA in Voice from Marshall University and has been teaching since 1976. In July 2014, Mrs. Schaaf completed Level III Certification in SomaticVoiceworks™- The LoVetri Method. She is a voice teacher, vocal coach, piano teacher, soloist, adjudicator, and guest choral director. In addition to teaching at her voice studio, Mrs. Schaaf has worked with choral groups at several churches. Prior to moving to Texas, she worked in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia teaching voice and piano in her private studio as well as general music, voice and choral music at the preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and college levels. Mrs. Schaaf is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Mrs. Schaaf was a Past-President and Fall Festival Chair of the Roanoke Valley Music Teachers Association (RVMTA) in Virginia. Ms. Schaaf is currently the treasurer for the North Texas Music Teachers Association (NTMTA). Vocal Discoveries Studio is now accepting new students.
