Bio:

***Private and group instruction for students of all ages and ability levels***

I completed my doctorate in Vocal Performance at the University of Minnesota, and previously received certification in Vocal Pedagogy (teaching) from the Schuessler Vocal Arts Center. I did my Masters in Music at the State University of New York and my undergraduate at Bethany College. I have been teaching privately for over 10 years, and have been a Teaching Assistant and Adjunct Instructor at the collegiate level for 10 years.

I firmly believe that singing is an art that involves the whole body, mind, and spirit. When we sing well, we are sharing and exposing our true selves. There is beauty and power in that fact. I encourage my students to embrace their own, unique, "true" voice, to maximize its potential for quality and resonance, and to be willing to share that with others. It is both a vocal and personal journey.

Feel free to contact me by email for more information. Best wishes for happy, healthy music making!
