Bio: Rhea Miller is currently a Part-Time Voice Professor at Utah Tech University and a Voice and Acting Coach in Saint George, Utah. Her students focus on Art Song, Audition Preparation, Classical, Jazz, Musical Theater, Popular Voice, Ensemble Singing, and Recital Techniques. Dr. Miller assists her students in developing composition, musicianship, and performance techniques required for prestigious university music programs, vocal competitions, and performing arts theaters such as; the Young Arts National Arts Competition, Southern Utah Heritage Choir Scholarship Competition, National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition (NATS), Southern Utah Performing Arts Festival, Utah Solo/Ensemble Festival, Dixie’s Got Talent Competition, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Tuacahn Center for the Arts, St. George Musical Theater, Hurricane Theatrical, and The Stage Door. In addition to teaching at Utah Tech University, Dr. Miller is also an Adjunct Voice Professor at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah and has had the opportunity to be a guest clinician and adjudicator to large and small vocal ensembles with the Utah Shakespeare Festival High School Competition. In her spare time, Dr. Miller is also the Artistic Director with St. George Opera and is looking forward to directing SGO's school outreach production and music directing the mainstage production of Hansel and Gretel in February 2026. Dr. Miller graduated from Arizona State University with her Doctor of Musical Arts in May 2016 and was the Soprano Teaching Artist for Arizona Opera's 2013-2016 seasons. In addition to making her opera debut as Papagena in Arizona Opera's production of Mozart's The Magic Flute in 2015, Dr. Miller has performed with numerous opera companies and symphonies around the United States and Europe.
