Bio: Nichole Jensen opened her home-based private studio in 2007. Her lessons are theory and technique-based, meaning her students learn all aspects of the music as they learn to use their individual voice. Nichole Jensen has been performing actively for 20 years. After high school, she chose to perform around the valley and start her family before getting her degree. She graduated with her degree in secondary choral education from Ottawa University in 2011. She taught choir, voice, and general music in the Chandler school district from 2011-2015. She graduated with her Masters of Music Education in December 2018.
Her students have had many successes over the years, including musical roles in national tours and at such locations as Phoenix Theater, Hale Theater, VYT, Spotlight Theater, Greasepaint/StageBrush Theater, CGCC, MCC, etc. and numerous high school productions. Nichole's students have been awarded music scholarships at schools like Wheaton, Wyoming, ASU, U of A, GCU, OCU, Baylor, Shenandoah, Emerson, NYU, and more. She has also had students in many audition choirs, including Sweet Adeline’s Scottsdale Choir, Phoenix Boys Choir, Phoenix Girls choir, Phoenix Children’s choir, and multiple regional choirs as well as all-state choir. Nichole has had students receive awards in all levels of NATS auditions from chapter and district, Regional, and many students who have made it to Semifinals in the national audition and even had a student win second in category two in the National Student Auditions.
