Bio: My name is Rachel Stenbuck and I am a native of Cary, North Carolina. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice, and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Meredith College. I have been teaching music in the Raleigh area for 20 years, and have performed in various church and public venues. During my graduate studies I performed as the mezzo soloist in the Meredith College Chorale performance of Mozart’s Requiem. I am a member of the North Carolina Opera Company chorus and have sung various roles in local operas. Recently, I joined the new North Carolina Opera Company in their production of Tosca as a chorus member and in the role of Shepherd Boy. Abroad, I have sung the role of 2nd Lady in The Magic Flute in Varna, Bulgaria, and La Principessa in Suor Angelica, in Sansepolco, Italy. Other roles include 3rd Lady in The Magic Flute, Dick Deadeye in HMS Pinafore, and Mad Margaret in Ruddigore.
