Bio:

Christina has been singing and performing since her early teens. After performing professionally for ten years, she started her voice studio in 2007. Students range in age from 10 to adult. Christina works with all abilities from beginner to professional, tailoring her lesson and coaching to the individual needs. She enjoys teaching all genres of music, but specializes in classical, musical theater, and jazz.

Christina's studio blends traditional music lessons with technology. Her approach establishes a solid foundation of breath, body alignment, and vocal technique, giving her students the tools and experience needed to be successful in their chosen style(s) of music. Christina also offers intensive classes in music theory and composition. Unlike traditional classes on these topics, she incorporates music production and synthesis using programs such as Ableton Live and Audacity. She also uses Noteflight for group learning. Each session is a little different as Christina tailors the classes to the student's interests and needs. Every session incorporates group and individual project work.
