Stewart Cramer, tenor, earned his B.M in Vocal Performance from Indiana University, M.M in Voice from UNLV, and is completing his Doctorate in Voice from the University of Northern Colorado (ABD). Mr. Cramer has performed with the San Diego Opera, Opera Colorado, Opera Fort Collins, Indianapolis Opera, Zwei Groschen Oper in Germany and with orchestras at Indiana Univeristy, the University of Northern Colorado, UNLV, and University of Wyoming as well as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Greeley Philharmonic, Las Vegas Philharmonic, and AIMS-Graz Orchestra. Mr. Cramer's roles include Alfred, Rinuccio, Ruggero, Oronte, Dr. Cajus, and Spoletta. Mr. Cramer was also tenor soloist in Bernstein’s Mass, Handel’s Messiah, Goodall's Eternal Light: A Requiem, Dubois' Seven Last Words, and Bach's Christ lag in Todes Banden, BWV 4. Mr. Cramer has sung under conductors Richard Bonynge, Edoardo Müller, Raymond Leppard, Karen Keltner, Russel Guyver, and Christof Perick and has worked with voice teachers and coaches including Dr. Melissa Malde, Alfonse Anderson, Michael Sylvester, Luana DeVol, Dr. Carol Kimball, and Andrea Huber. In addition to performing, Mr. Cramer has also assistant directed, directed and produced opera and opera scenes as well as musical theater productions.
Currently, Mr. Cramer is the Director of Vocal Activities at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE.
