Title: Assistant Professor of Music

Bio: Mackenzie has been teaching applied voice for over fifteen years. She believes in teaching and supporting healthy technique in order to allow her students to thrive in whatever genre they decide to pursue. This is achieved through voice instruction centered around loving your voice, healthy technique, sight-reading skills, listening skills, performance practice, preparation for competition, repertoire, theory, etc. As a performer, some of Mackenzie's favorite roles include Dorabella from Cosi fan tutte, Zita from Gianni Schicchi, Baba from The Medium, Sesto from La Clemenza di Tito, the Witch from Hänsel and Gretel, and Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast.
