Bio: Amanda is an Assistant Professor and Program Head of Musical Theater at Pace University and is the owner of a private studio working with professional singers. Amanda currently provides vocal coaching for the Broadway productions of Operation Mincemeat and Stranger Things: The First Shadow. She was previously the vocal coach for Jeff Ross: Take A Banana For The Ride, The Lightning Thief, and Be More Chill on Broadway, as well as TEETH Off-Broadway. As a Singing Voice Specialist, she frequently works with injured singers, collaborating with laryngologists and voice therapists in NYC. As a performer, Amanda was an original cast member of the LA company of Wicked, part of the Las Vegas company of Mamma Mia, and toured the country on the national tour of the Broadway revival of Oklahoma. Amanda completed her Doctor of Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, in addition to a Master of Education. She also holds a Master of Music and Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from NYU. She is a PAVA-Recognized Vocologist and a recipient of the Van Lawrence Fellowship. She has served on the Board of Directors for NYSTA, PAVA, and is on the NATS/Rowman and Littlefield Editorial Board, as well as the Australian Voice Journal Review Board. She is an active researcher and her first book, So You Want to Sing Musical Theatre, Updated and Expanded Version, was published in 2022.
