Why is it that some people can sing and others "can't?" Is it something we're born with, or something trained? Can anyone learn how to sing, or is just for the talented? Singing is for everyone, and always has been. Our familial and cultural backgrounds greatly influence the skills and mindsets we develop in our lives, and singing is no different. Some people grow up in musical environments that help cultivate their singing voice, while others grow up with little to no live music exposure or encouraged participation. Whatever your background, you can learn! If you can talk, you can sing.
Margaret specializes in training children and adults of all ages and levels (8 years old and up) how to use, strengthen, and nurture their natural voice for any music style(s) of their choice. She teaches using a mixture of classical vocal technique, voice science, sound healing, and the Somatic Voicework™ - The Lovetri Method. She teaches any style that interests the student, such as musical theater, pop/rock, jazz, blues, and opera.
