Bio: Dr. Scott Tripp is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at the New Mexico Military Institute. Dr. Tripp has previously taught at Eastern New Mexico University, the University of Miami, Frost School of Music, the University of Miami Department of Theatre Arts, the Florida International University Wertheim School of Music, and the University of Florida's New World School of the Arts. He has performed professionally as both singer and conductor in the United States, Europe, and South America. Dr. Tripp is a frequent regional performer and conductor in local operas, concerts, recitals, and galas with such organizations such as the Roswell Symphony Orchestra, Florida Grand Opera, the Central Florida Bach Society, the Imperial Symphony Orchestra, Magic City Opera, Orchestra Miami, the Alhambra Orchestra, and others. His international credits include performances with the Asociacion Pro Arte y Cultura de Bolivia, and presentations and publications with the Congreso Internacional de CIS in Madrid.
