Bio: Candice Aipperspach is Associate Professor of Music at Ouachita Baptist University, Arkadelphia, AR where she teaches Voice, Diction, Pedagogy, and Opera Workshop. She is an active performer having most recently appeared with the East Texas Symphonic Band, the Longview (TX) Symphony, and as Fantine in Lubbock Moonlight Musicals production of "Les Miserables"; Nellie in "South Pacific"; Aunt Eller in "Oklahoma"; and Nettie Fowler in "Carousel." She has also appeared as Susanna in Le Nozze de Figaro, as Susanna in Carlisle Floyd's opera Susanna, and as the Witch in Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel with Texas Tech University Opera. Additional professional credits include Assistant Stage Directing at Music in the Marche in Mondavio, Italy; a Fellow with Music Across the Pond; and productions with Theatre West Virginia and Stephen Foster Productions. Ms. Aipperspach holds the DMA in Voice from Texas Tech University where she studied with Rebecca Hays, an MM from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BM Ouachita Baptist University. She is an active recitalist.
