Tina Tasarz Pearsall holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Roosevelt University. She is active professionally as a teacher and singer in the Chicago area. She has performed roles with the Syracuse Opera and traveled to Germany, Austria and Prague to sing with the St. Rita Choir from Dallas, Texas. She has cantored at various churches in the Chicagoland area for over the past 20 years. Her oratorio experience includes Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, the Brahms Requiem and Schubert's Mass in G.
Her teaching experience includes being a choral director at Sam Houston Middle School in Texas from 2000-2005, teaching at the YMCA in Syracuse, NY, Studio of Music in Liverpool, NY, Music Makers for Life in Crystal Lake, Illinois and Studio of Music in Hampshire, IL teaching both piano and voice. Tina maintains a successful teaching studio of both piano and voice where her students have gone on to major in degrees in Voice Performance.
SOM is a voice studio which devotes itself to: To train singers, SOM provides technical training to singers and who are interested in vocal training. The elements that are taught are: Vocal Production/Breath Support/Resonance/Range extension SOM Voice techniques taught are: flexibility, dexterity and phrasing SOM Voice provides fundamental and technical training for beginning and intermediate students of all ages.
