Bio: Cody has been teaching private voice lessons for 13 years. He teaches all voices in all vocal styles. In addition to Vocal Technique Cody also provides dramatic vocal coaching (acting through song). He has taught all ages from 6 years old to adult professional singers. Cody's specialty is musical theatre but he teaches a range of styles from classical/legit to commercial voice, including pop, rock, country, belt and mix/speech level singing. Many of his students have been accepted into prestigious undergraduate programs at different universities and have gone on to work in professional regional theaters as singer/actors. Cody holds a BFA in Music Dance Theatre from Brigham Young University and an MFA in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Triple Threat Productions & Studios and has served as Artistic Director, Producer, Director, General Manager, Vocal Director, Choreographer, for different theaters and multiple theatrical productions. Cody has an active professional career as a singer/actor for the last 20 years, performing lead roles in Broadway National Tours, various regional theaters, as well as internationally in a variety of venues in over 30 countries. Cody is a passionate and effective voice teacher/vocal coach and maintains an active studio. Cody was the director of the musical theatre program at Weber State University where he taught private voice full time, as well as many other classes. He also taught in the BFA musical theatre program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and San Diego State University.
