Bio: Judy Boyter is a respected voice and piano instructor with over 40 years of teaching experience. Judy has taught music to students at all levels, from elementary through high school. She taught secondary choral music in the Klein, Conroe, and Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School Districts. Since she retired from public school teaching in 2005, Judy has built a successful career as a private voice and piano teacher. Many of her students have earned placement in the TMEA Texas All-State Choir and 1st place in school, community, regional, state, and national competitions, including NATS, Schmidt, and CS Singer. She’s helped her students win top scholarships, enabling them to continue their music studies at major university music programs and conservatories. In addition to her private lessons, Judy is an adjudicator and accompanist for many TMEA, UIL, and other school events. Judy, a noted mezzo-soprano soloist, has been featured with the Fort Worth Symphony, the Houston Symphony, the Houston Masterworks Chorus, and other venues in the Houston area. She has held positions as a paid church soloist, choral music director, and accompanist in Spring, Cypress, and The Woodlands, Texas. She resides in Spring, Texas, north of Houston.
