As we enter the holiday season, there are many occasions to gather with friends and family, with alcoholic beverages as part of the mix. Dr. Wendy LeBorgne, NATS Wellness Coordinator, offers some guidance. As singers, and those who use their voices extensively, it becomes very important to have an understanding of how alcohol consumption may or may not affect your voice. Dr. LeBorgne also talks about the effects of reflux after you’ve had alcohol and suggests some positive options when you’re choosing what to drink.
