Adjunct Faculty Positions - Voice
Holy Names University seeks two or more voice instructors. Teaching responsibilities may include: undergraduate and/or graduate voice lessons (14 one-hour lessons/semester and weekly Vocal Performance Forum rotating with other faculty), Voice Class, Lyric Diction, Vocal Literature, Vocal Pedagogy Practicum, and supervising recitals and graduate projects/theses.

Adjunct Faculty - Opera Workshop
Holy Names University seeks a music director/conductor for its annual Opera Workshop. This is an auditioned class open to HNU students and the community at large. Auditions happen in the fall, and scenes and/or a full opera are presented in the spring. Class runs Tuesdays 7:00 - 10:30 PM. Successful candidate will work with one or two stage directors and an accompanist.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The candidate for the Voice position should have a Masters or Doctorate degree in music or equivalent professional experience, strong teaching and keyboard skills, experience teaching courses in one or more related fields (diction, literature, pedagogy).

The candidate for the Opera Workshop position should have a Masters or Doctorate degree in music, strong keyboard skills, and experience choosing, auditioning, rehearsing, and conducting operatic repertoire.
