Job Description / Duties

The Department of Music at the College of Charleston (South Carolina) seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor of Voice for the 2022-23 school year. Teaching duties include individual voice lessons for music majors, minors, and non-majors; participation in weekly repertoire (studio) class; and end-of-semester performance juries. Compensation is on a per-student basis, with enrollment confirmed during the first week of the semester. Adjuncts teaching a full-time load are eligible for health insurance benefits, subject to institutional policies. Applications from members of under-represented groups are strongly encouraged.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Teaching duties include individual voice lessons with opportunities to expand your role to classroom teaching of Music Appreciation, etc.

Additional Information

Adjunct positions are extended on an annual basis.
