Job Description / Duties

Responsibilities: Build and sustain a successful voice studio, as well as play an active role in the collegial support and advancement of the Choral/Vocal Area, its curriculum, and various programs. Additional teaching assignments may be made according to the successful candidate’s expertise and the needs of the School of Music.

In addition to instruction, all music faculty members are expected to engage in service to the university and their profession, to be productive as an artist/scholars, and to promote an inclusive workplace and learning environment

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications: Master’s degree required, earned doctorate preferred. Candidates without a doctorate must document equivalent experience and expertise, including evidence of an active performance and teaching record.

Rank and Salary: Assistant Professor. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is contingent upon funding.
