Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Hurley School of Music to begin August 2019.
Voice/Opera/Music Theatre: Responsibilities will include directing a major music theatre or opera production in collaboration with the theatre department, teaching opera workshop and applied voice. Other responsibilities, such as diction for singers or music literature may be included, commensurate with the candidate’s expertise. Terminal degree preferred; master’s or ABD required. College teaching experience essential. Professional experience directing opera or musical theatre a plus. Complete applications submitted by November 5, 2018 will receive fullest consideration.
