Job Description / Duties

Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied voice and voice-related classes to be assigned based on the successful candidate’s expertise and background. Other responsibilities include recruiting undergraduate and graduate students, and contributing to the artistic and intellectual environment of the college and University through research/creative activity and service. Duties may be assigned by the Chair or Dean depending upon the needs of the Department of Music Performance Studies and the College of Musical Arts.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Earned Doctorate preferred or Master’s degree with two years of performing and/or teaching experience
2. Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
3. Performing experience in varied vocal genres including contemporary music
