Job Description / Duties
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied voice and voice- related classes to be assigned based on the successful candidate’s expertise and background. Other responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate recruiting, advising, contributing to the artistic and intellectual environment of the College and University, and maintaining a current profile as a vocal performer and pedagogue in state, regional and national activities. Additional duties may be assigned by the Chair or Dean depending upon the needs of the Department of Music Performance Studies and the College of Musical Arts.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Earned Doctorate or Master’s degree with two years of professional performing and/or teaching experience
2. Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
3. Performing experience in varied vocal genres including contemporary music.
