Job Description / Duties

This full-time tenure-track position will include conducting the UW-Stevens Point Choral Ensembles, teaching music education classes in choral methods and choral conducting, an supervising student teachers. Other duties may be assigned by the department chair. The selected candidate will participate in recruitment, retention, and advising and be an integral part of a vibrant, collegial department.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Doctorate degree required or completion within 1 year of hire.
• Three years of K-12 teaching experience

The Department of Music is housed on the UWSP campus in the state-of-the-art Noel Fine Arts Center, built in 2004. The department has 18 full time with 26 total faculty and staff.
