Job Description / Duties
The DMAM has the primary responsibility to guide and administer the congregation’s rich music ministry. This encompasses all ages, abilities, and diverse styles, from ancient to modern.
The DMAM provides leadership for all aspects of a comprehensive, multi-generational and intergenerational music and arts ministry, bringing glory to God in the worship and outreach life of the congregation of First Presbyterian Church, Lexington (FPC).
Qualifications / Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a music-related field, primary instrument skills must be in one or more of the following: organ, keyboard, voice, or choral conducting (master’s preferred)
• Five years of experience in sacred music leadership, with direct experience in the reformed tradition
Salary: Starting salary is $63,000-$73,000, commensurate with experience
