Rank: Full-Time Instructor of Voice, non-tenure track
The University of Oklahoma School of Music is seeking a Mezzo-Soprano or Soprano to fill a full-time Instructor of Voice position beginning Fall Semester 2023. This is a nine-month appointment at the rank of Instructor, with the possibility of renewal on a yearly basis.

Job Description
Job duties include teaching a full studio of undergraduate and graduate voice majors and holding a weekly Studio Class. Applicant must also be willing to teach other courses as needed by the Voice Area, serve and chair Master of Music committees, and serve on Voice Area and/or School of Music committees. A proven track record of successful recruiting and a desire to recruit collaboratively with the Voice, Opera and Choral areas is preferred.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Required and Desired Qualifications
A Master of Music degree is required, and Doctor of Musical Arts and/or equivalent performance experience is preferred. Applicant must display proof of excellence in singing and evidence of collegiate and/or university teaching experience. Applicant must also be enthusiastic about collaborating with an excellent team of voice professors, coaches, opera directors, choral conductors, and music education professors among the broader collegium of the School of Music and university faculty, staff, and students.
