Job Description / Duties

Position is full-time academic year non-tenure track, limited to 06/18/2022 with anticipated renewal.

The University of Rhode Island invites applications for a full-time appointment for a Lecturer in Amplified Voice beginning in the fall of 2021.

Basic Function:

Teach applied lessons in contemporary vocal styles; teach a voice class in contemporary vocal style and improvisation; advise students; teach courses in other areas in another area of qualification, which might include but not be limited to music theory, music education, musicology, music business, jazz studies or music courses in general education.
