Job Description / Duties

Seeking an experienced voice teacher, specializing in musical theater style based on a classical foundation. Knowledge of vocal technique, musical theater repertoire, and audition technique is required.

We are looking for an hourly contractor who can commit to 2-3 weekday afternoons and at least one full weekend day.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Previous experience working with children/teens a must. Light piano accompaniment required in lessons.

Start Date: August 2022
Schedule: In person; ~3-4 days a week (one of those days could be virtual if there is student interest)
Travel: The organization’s rehearsal studio is in Elmsford, NY. Contractor must provide their own transportation.

Salary: $45/hr

The Random Farms Kids’ Theater is a not-for-profit organization that offers musical theater programming to young people from kindergarten to college. The company was founded in 1995 and currently serves approximately 1,200 young people each year with an annual operating budget of $1.7 million. Random Farms operates primarily in Westchester County, NY, though many of its participants travel from nearby counties in NY as well as CT and NJ. There are currently 11 full-time employees, plus several part-time employees and independent contractors.
