Job Description / Duties

Music Director January 4 - February 9th

Seeking experienced an music director with a background in musical theater to our upcoming production of Cinderella, Youth Version. The music director will teach vocal parts, provide proper voice technique and coach students ages 6-18 in creating dynamic and interesting musical performance.

Qualifications / Required Skills

A passion for theater and for young people is essential as well as the enthusiasm to be in a co-creative role with the director. The music director will conduct music rehearsals with the full group (70-80 students; divided between two casts), as well as solo work for lead roles. Tracks are used for performance, the music director role is complete after the final dress rehearsal.

Additional Information

Private housing in the historic district is provided to the music director and is available two days prior to the start of rehearsal and is available through the final performance.

Rehearsals take place Monday - Friday 3-6pm and every other Saturday. Tech week schedule will vary.

Future employment opportunities available, and you may respond if you would also like to be considered for our summer, 2023 season.

Salary: $680.00 starting at per week
