Job Description / Duties

Teach classes and perform duties as assigned by the department chair of Music. Courses will be primarily in the area of voice but may also include aural skills and music appreciation or other General Education courses.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Master' s Degree required.
Develop course content and other course material in support of course and learning outcomes and adhere to departmental requirements.

Prepare, administer, and grade assignments and examinations in a timely manner to inform students about their progress and to provide opportunities that will allow students to succeed.

Schedule and maintain appropriate office hours proportionate to the instructional assignments and provide timely communication to students utilizing Morehouse network.

Utilize instructional technology (Banner, Blackboard, and Starfish) required by Morehouse College including maintaining an online gradebook and keeping accurate records of grades and attendance.
