Job Description / Duties

Church of the Redeemer is proud of have a long history of the finest Anglican choral music in the area. We are seeking a soprano section leader and soloist to join our team of 12 paid professional singers.

Strong sight-reading skills are a must!

The choirs sing every Sunday morning for the 9am and 11am masses and for all major feast days (Easter, Christmas, All Saints, Epiphany, Ascension, etc.)

Rehearsals are on Thursday nights, 7-9. We have a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a strong commitment to choral excellence. The choir songs everything from Stanford to Messiaen to Ulysses Kay. 

Masking is recommended but not required. 100% of the choir is currently vaccinated for COVID-19.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Strong sight reading abilities
Ability to sing straight tone (not always required depending on the rep)

Salary: Paid monthly, commensurate with experience
