Teaching in additional core music areas (diction, literature, etc.) may be required, depending on the needs of the school and in alignment with the candidate’s specific expertise. The candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to “Hatter Ready,” a student-centered immersive experience (equivalent to one course) as a part of the University’s new experiential, contemporary, and integrative learning initiative. The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with all faculty, working closely with an active voice area of six full-time voice faculty members, including voice instructors, opera director, and choral directors.
