Job Description / Duties

Job Description: The vocal arts instructor will provide individual instruction for students of all ages.

Successful candidates will join a collegial department of teachers committed to teaching at the highest level. Performance opportunities may also be possible for those with strong performance skills.

Responsibilities: Provide weekly individual lessons following the vocal arts (classically oriented/bel canto) curriculum. Prepare students to participate in all aspects of the program (recitals, juries, etc). Attend quarterly department meetings. Must make up to 5 hours per week available for assigned students.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications: A master’s degree in vocal arts preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Candidates should have experience teaching students of all ages with a broad range of abilities.

Salary: Compensation: $55-65 an hour
