The 53rd National Conference in Boston
The 53rd National Conference of the National Association of Teachers of Singing begins officially on Saturday!
In preparation for your trip to Boston, the NATS National Office will be sending a series of e-mails and reminders to assist in your planning and travel. This is the third of those messages, and we hope that the information contained here will be helpful. If you have other questions, please e-mail us at info@nats.org so that we can better assist you.

Complimentary session recordings from the 53rd National Conference will be available online for all paid attendees!
NATS is excited to introduce our newest educational resource, the NATS Live Learning Center, for all your professional development needs. This online portal lets you access session recordings from the 53rd National Conference so you can connect to all of the conference’s engaging content when you need it. If you miss a session, you can experience it online after the conference. Sessions are being recorded using the latest screen capture technology to include the speaker’s audio, presentation slides and anything else that appeared on their screen during the live session. Recorded sessions make great training tools between NATS events and provide a comprehensive information recap. Recordings through the NJSCA Live Learning Center are available to all Boston 2014 attendees at no additional cost through the end of 2014! It’s all included in your conference registration!
You will be notified via email after the conference when sessions have been posted online – within two weeks following the conference’s completion.

Interested in CDs or DVDs of the conference to take home with you?
Audio CDs of plenary sessions, breakouts, master classes and workshops are available to take home with you from the conference! DVDs of sessions are available for ordering, too. See the EGAMI A/V sales table near registration for details and pricing.

NATS merchandise for sale at the conference
NATS will offer additional items for sale as part of the 53rd National Conference. Take some home with you! NATS t-shirts ($10), NATS tote bags ($5), A History of NATS printed history ($10) and additional 70th Anniversary commemorative lapel pins ($10) will be available for purchase at the registration desk in the fourth floor lobby.
The registration table accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Professional head shots are available in Boston for just $150
Have you been thinking about having a new professional head shot made? Plan to have it made in Boston! 64 Degrees Photography will be on site throughout the conference taking photos of the sessions and the many gatherings. Lisa Bruno and her staff, however, are also offering a Head Shot Special of $150. Hair and makeup touchup is included. You will receive an edited digital file, along with a printed 5x7 as part of the package. Appointments are available throughout the conference. Simply visit the 64 Degrees booth in the exhibit hall to sign up once you arrive. PLUS, if you bring the postcard from registration, you can get a 20% discount!

Visit the NATS Message Board and find transportation buddies, last-minute rooms, etc.
Some NATS members are still looking for roommates or to offer their paid registration
to other members because unexpected personal matters will prevent them from attending
the conference at all. Be sure to visit the Message Board and post your needs. Others will see and have an opportunity to respond. Several members have already connected through this resource. Give it a try!
