Imagine the warm summer breeze as you skate along the Chicago River to admire the historic architecture of the Windy City. When you attend the 57th NATS National Conference in Chicago (July 1-6, 2022), you'll have the opportunity to do just that with two special tours!
On Friday, July 1 at 10 a.m., the NATS group will don the First Lady Cruise line to learn all about Chicago’s marvelous architecture scene from the Chicago River. On the same day, Friday, July 1 at 12:30 p.m., a group also will take part in a private tour of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Chicago’s First Lady Architectural Tour Cruise
Date: Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10 a.m.
Tickets: $65 each person (includes tour and bus transportation to and from hotel).

Chicago’s First Lady Cruises is the official cruise line with the Chicago Architecture Foundation and is proud to present the official Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise. Named Chicago’s No. 1 Architecture Tour, the river cruise highlights more than 50 architecturally significant buildings and is led by passionate volunteer docents (guides) from the Chicago Architecture Foundation.

Art Institute of Chicago Group Tour

Location: Art Institute of Chicago; 111 S. Michigan Avenue
Meet with our group to enjoy a private tour of the Art Institute of Chicago. The tour will focus on highlights from the museum’s art collection.
The museum is well known for its superior collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionists works, including more than 30 paintings by Claude Monet. The institute is home to works by other notable artists in these genres, such as Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Gustave Caillebotte, Paul Cézanne, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, and Annie Swan Coburn.
The collection also boasts works by celebrated artists Mary Cassatt, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dalí, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Kerry James Marshall, Georgia O’Keefe, Jackson Pollock, Diego Rivera, Alma Thomas, and Andy Warhol, among many others.
