What's New > NATS unveils 2022 National Student Auditions semifinalists
The National Association of Teachers of Singing is pleased to reveal the 2022 semifinalists of the National Student Auditions. Selected from more than 2,900 video submissions, these invited singers will compete in person July 1 and 2 at the NSA semifinal and final rounds as part of the 57th NATS national conference (July 1-6) in downtown Chicago.
The high school semifinal and final rounds will occur live on Friday, July 1. The semifinals will take place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT at Roosevelt University. The finals will take place 4 to 7 p.m. CT in the Grand Ballroom I, 7th Floor of the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
The college-age and up semifinalists and finalists, along with the Hall Johnson Spirituals Competition performers, will compete on Saturday, July 2. The semifinal competition is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT at Roosevelt University. The finals for college age and up categories will occur 4 to 7 p.m. CT in the Grand Ballroom I, 7th Floor of the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
The top three singers in each category from the semifinals will advance to the live finals round on their respective day.
Semifinalists and their teachers were emailed detailed instructions on Sunday, May 15.
