BOSTON - The 53rd National Conference was the backdrop for 24 singers who participated in the semifinal round of the National Music Theater Competition on Saturday afternoon at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. 

Eight singers were selected as finalists and will participate in the NMTC finals on Sunday, July 6, beginning at 8 p.m. in Salon EF.
