During our 75th Anniversary, we are pleased to profile Maria Lagios in the “NATS for a Lifetime” online article series. As a youngster, encouraged by her Greek community to become the next Maria Callas, she found herself in the studio of the remarkable Priscilla B. Larrabee. By age 17, she was off to an incredible start to a singing career. Her training continued at University of Michigan, Northwestern University and later in France.
