Tampa Bay NATS Chapter presents Viennese Operetta

“An Introduction to Viennese Operetta and Careers” by Dr. Helen Tintes-Schuermann of the KONS Conservatory in Vienna, and Interim Voice Professor at Ave Maria University. Singers make lucrative careers in Germany and Austria in performing operetta. Dr. Tintes-Schuermann will give an overview to Viennese Operetta, discuss traditions and the system for auditioning. A master class will follow in the afternoon session. Singers will perform selections from German/Austrian operetta in German. (7 singers maximum)

 Registration $25 members, $15 students and parents, $30 non-NATS member professionals. The fee includes a box lunch of sandwich, chips and cookie—choices of turkey, ham, or vegetarian, and drink. Deadline for registration with payment (for lunch order) is Monday, September 21, 2015, or you may call Jeanie Darnell (239.209.0224) by September 26. Completion certificates will be given to include in your professional development portfolios.
