Bio: Natasha Valdes is a certified trauma-informed voice professional through the Voice Study Center. Her teaching philosophy is designed around science-based solutions using a combination of neuroscience and voice science to achieve complete vocal wellness. Valdes holds a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Pedagogy from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach. Natasha is the founder of Complete Vocal Wellness which is a holistic platform for voice users to take functional voice lessons, have access to performance anxiety coaching, and trauma voice healing. Valdes is known for sharing her research on “Rewiring trauma, anxiety, and depression in the Voice,” at conferences through organizations like CCDA (California Choral Directors Association) and San Diego NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). She will also be presenting on the topic at CASMEC (California All-State Music Educators Conference) in February 2023. Natasha is a current voice teacher at Mater Dei Vocal Conservatory and has her own vocal wellness studio in Southern California.
