An anticipated record-breaking attendance at the upcoming 54^th NATS National Conference in Chicago has necessitated adding another event hotel for attendees.

Following the news that the official conference-site hotel, The Marriott Magnificent Mile, had become completely booked on several peak room nights during the Conference, NATS has made arrangements with The Gwen Hotel to accommodate attendees who have yet to make hotel reservations.

Situated just two doors down from the Marriott Magnificent Mile, The Gwen is a 300-room hotel within the landmark McGraw-Hill Building. Adorned with panels created in 1929 by sculptress Gwen Lux, the hotel’s namesake, The Gwen Hotel features an array of amenities including the Circa Restaurant and Lounge as well as Upstairs at the Gwen.

A special NATS group room rate of $149/night (single or double occupancy) has been arranged with The Gwen Hotel. Deadline to make discounted room reservations is June 10, 2016.

The biennial NATS National Conference attracts NATS members and others from around the world to share in programs, demonstrations, lectures, master classes and competitions that help celebrate the art of singing and increase knowledge of teachers to help them better assist their students. The 54th NATS National Conference will be held July 8-12, 2016, at the Marriott Magnificent Mile in Chicago.
