What's New > Recommend a Student or Yourself as a Master Class Participant at the 55th NATS National Conference
The 2018 NATS National Conference will feature several major Master Class sessions. Self-recommendations or recommendations of students to participate in the sessions are welcome. Deadline for Master Class recommendations is Tuesday, May 1.
This year’s Master Class sessions will include:
- Breath Bootcamp with Deborah Birnbaum (Pre-Conference Workshop, June 22) – Six singers at any level. Required repertoire: operatic arias or song literature.
- Master Class with Stephanie Blythe and Christine Brewer (June 22) – Four singers who are young professionals. Required repertoire: operatic arias or song literature; one must be in English.
- Master Class with Alton Fitzgerald White (June 24) – Four singers who are young professionals.
- Performing the Great American Songbook with Singers, with collaborative pianist Craig Terry (June 24) – Two singers requested.
- Collaborative Piano Master Class with Craig Terry (June 25) – Three singer/pianist duos who are young professionals. Required repertoire: song literature only.
- Edrie Means Weekly - Legit Singing in Musical Theatre (June 25) – Two singers. Male/Female preferred.
All selected participants must be registered to attend the conference at a minimum for the day on which their session takes place. Very attractive rates are available for students.

Be sure to note the requirements for each session and complete all required fields in order to complete a recommendation. All applicants must provide an audio sample of appropriate repertoire, maximum 4 minutes (MP3 is the preferred audio format).
